From Mawun we headed West to Selong Belanak, another fisherman village. Unlike Gerupuk, there's more scenery here than in Gerupuk. Stunning scenery. The weather was also bright. It was literally a sunny Sunday.
Selong Belanank to me is about men working under GOD's amazing work.
When we arrived at Selong Belanak, fishermen were returning from the sea with their motor boat.
Every time a fisherman reaches land, family and friends will come to help pull his boat ashore.
Technically speaking, not so good a picture.
But as I reviewed my pics
of several fishermen, I came to notice that everytime a big wave rolls
behind a fisherman, he will look back and watch the wave, no matter how
close he is already to shore.
Waiting for Dad to come home?
In Selong Belanak, it's not only the sea that's beautiful, but the vast ground of sand is also stunning. Especially under such a deep blue sky.
How amazing it is that the sea current had formed these steps of sand
during high tide. The whole landscape looks like have being curved.
Thanks to "Insight Guide Bali Lombok" for mentioning about Selong
Belong that I put it into our itinerary. It was no regret at all.
But most of all, thank
you to Jesus, for the bright blue sky. That's what my money would never afford to buy.
